Cartridge Heater

Cartridge heaters manufactured by Accord Heaters, can be supplied high density, medium or low density according the requested performance and the necessary specific power. High density cartridge heaters provide the best performance since they can reach temperature up to 860°C,besides cartridge heaters are available in several executions based on our customers requests.

Low Density Cartridge Heaters heater is a proven low cost solution for most heating applications its usage is however limited by the maximum surface loading upto 5 w/cm2.

Medium Density Cartridge heater is a proven performer like the High Density Cartridge Heater.That's because the same quality materials go into its constructions; MgO insulations, nickel-chromiumresistance wire, silicone-fibreglass insulated lead wires. The only difference is that the Medium Density Cartridge is packaged in a more economical design. Instead of having the high watt density capabilities; it's made of medium watt density application. These heating elements can be supplied with all the different connection leads. Supplied with surface load up to 15w/cm2.

Features

• Magnesium oxide insulation, compacted to the proper density, results in high dielectric strength and contributes to faster heat-up.
• Nickel-chromium resistance wire, precisely wound through the heated length, assures even, efficient distribution of heating to the sheath.
• Metallurgically-bonded conductor pins, crimp connected to the resistance wires, ensure trouble-free electrical continuity. This process provides lead flexibility just 8 mm (5/16 inch) form the end of the heater.
• Flexible standard wires, with silicone-fiberglass sleeves, insulate the wires to temperatures of 2100 C
• Optional lead end with silicone rubber seal protects the leads against moisture and other contaminates.
