Micro Coil Heaters



Microcoil heaters are designed to solve critical heating problems, in particular where little room is available. They are mainly used for the nozzle heating on hot runner systems in the Plastics industry, but they are used also for Packaging applications.

Microcoil coil heaters are made of a stainless steel sheath with a resistive wire insulated with compressed magnesium oxide.

This construction allows great performances, high specific power and high working temperature together with excellent electric insulation. Microcoil heaters are available with several sections, lengths and powers, they can be supplied straight or shaped, with or without thermocouple, according Customer's requests. Execution with an external carter are also available.

Micro coil heaters solve heating problems, where space is limited. Its flexibility means that they can be easily fitted around a pipe or used in a completely straight design. The heating elements can also be used as cartridge heaters where the hole size is irregular. Coil heaters are often used in the plastics industry in extrusion, injection molding machines and in similar applications.
